MICROSOFT IS BECOMING VERY GREEDY
Microsoft president (is his name Ballmer?) is dead wrong that Microsoft needs to offer services. Microsoft made its name offering software, namely for, Operating Engine. Google Made its name offering a Service, namely Search Engine Service. Both had a relatively easy time. For Example Iw3on developed no Search Engine. But it has been giving millions of dollars of prize money to promote the Google Search Engine. Google never had to work so hard prommoting its search services. Others did it for Google. Now both Microsoft and Google are entering into the field of each other. It could cost both of them in tedrms of losses. The software produced by Google may not sell as well as the the sales produced by its Searches. And the Micriosoft services may not sell as well as its software. Microsoft software has a brand name that can't be defeated inspite of the efforts of Mozilla and Open Source operating Engine. But Microsoft services have no brand name. Already it acquired an email service Hotmail that was a branded product. Microsoft converted it into a non-branded product. Hot mail is not nearly as hot as Yahoo because it has let it down.

So let there be a lesson for both Google and Microsoft.

And both should not ignore the threat posed by the alternate Internet service metod discussed at
http://www,newerawisp.blogspot.com/

Although the operating engine business of Microsoft may not suffer the software of google will definetely suffer.
