Well, every day, MS is more likely to admit that Open Source IS competition
But, they still try to pretend that Open Source is hard to use and lacks features, is still more expensive, and won't work.

And, with the billions still rolling in, they are forced to protect their twin cash cows in ways that might hurt them in the long run.
