Finally a Rival for MS
Linux was paraded around by businesses as being the Microsoft Killer, in a way it does play a part in what could be Microsoft's demise. Much like Novell though, Microsoft has vast amounts of on hand cash, so a brawl would be likely to endure for 20 or so years before Microsoft could even be thought of as beaten.

Google on the otherhand is a Next Generation Dot.com Company. Though they survived and thrived the first bomb, doesn't mean that they can't be hit in another bomb.

I hope that Google will succeed. Their success should inspire several to ween themselves of Microsoft. The question is, who will sacrifice more to take the other out. There is no doubt that OpenOffice.org move was.
