Right on the Money RK
WAAAAAAAYYYYYY back in the 20th century, my university taught us newbie programmers to code in Cobol. We learned just enough Assembly and C to tease us. Even then, our instructors warned us that program maintenance would take up 99% of our time and would be a bigger headache than clients not really knowing what they want.

After school, I went towards the network admin track, but have kept my eye on the programming world. What's been facinating is how the same marketing brainwashing techniques work on the programmers as they do everyone else. Looks like having a logical mind isn't everything.
