For a five-fold or ten-fold productivity improvement, PAPL (proliferation of another programming language) is not a bad thing, otherwise we'd still be using FORTRAN and COBOL. While you stand there with your protest sign, I'll be evaluating the value of training my development team in approprate languages and frameworks to be more productive and therefore competitive.
