But what about when you grow...
Even though these commercial type low-end databases seem to be more restrictive for webserver usage, etc., when you need to do something more complicated you can move to their bigger brothers and get the extra functionality minus the restrictions (yes it costs...). However with MySQL and the like you can't grow to a richly functional product when you need to do something more complicated.
