You're right that the poll itself isn't a concern in and of itself, but it should be a concern for Microsoft as an indicator that they'll begin losing small business customers unless they start doing a better job to attract them and entice them to stay.

I bet that there are quite a few that fear they'll eventually be forced into the Software Assurance program (away from buying new licenses only when they need them), which will cost them more in the long run unless they upgrade with ever new software version released. As a net admin in a relatively small non-profit organization (and an MS-only shop at this time), that concern always rests in the back of my mind. It may never happen, but with the sweeping changes MS has been making, and its apparent shift toward serving large enterprise customers, it's not outside the realm of possibility.
