Don't just blame the web
I agree with your web site assessment, but this is no worse than people running to the TV to catch the HORRIBLY BIASED news and making a decision based on one or two anchor's opinions.

Or worse: watching those damn political ads which are at-best misleading and at-worst libelous, defamation-filled outright lies. Why is it politicians can run these things without any accountability? If a business or private-sector individual ran ads like these, they'd be sued for defamation of character or libel (or both!).
