This is a good direction for many users
While I prefer to use operating systems such as Windows XP Pro, Windows 2003 and Linux ? a modified OS geared to the Non Geek and Family users would be welcome.

My advice is make the OS more self healing ? to often XP, NT, 95 an 98 installations go belly up and unless you really know the registry, virus recovery, critical file recovery, software activation files etc you are dead in the water.

Good direction ? lets just hope it is done correctly ? if so it will be a winner.
