Just die already...
My rep and I want this company gone. When I took over here as a Sr IT Manager, my rep and I planned to migrate off of Netware and NDS. I kept waiting and waiting but the products never gave me the opportunity to migrate. So my rep finally pulled a real trick out of his hat and funded the effort through a disinterested 3rd party. With funding in place, I fired all of the CNE's in a move similar to the closing days of Watergate. I was able to sell this business plan to the finance folks and the old CIO was fired. I took over and have never looked back. Now I just wish Novell would bite the bullet here once and for all. My rep and I have held mock funerals for Novell several times. We drape a red N flag over a casket and have people swear allegiance to Microsoft in front of it. The entire thing is done in a fairly serious fashion. My rep then provides food and drink and we all celebrate.
