Exactly but...

ISP's need to have enough balls to block access to users that are to not willing (or not smart enough) to take that responsibility.

We can sit here and blame Micro$oft forever. But its not going to change anything. Even IF (big IF) MS manages to write a secrure OS someday. Its not going to help the installed base that is STILL infected with code red!

Besides my ISP (Comcast) threatened to block my internet access for makeing an off topic (not spam) post to a USENET group.

How come ISP's are willing to take the responsibility of monitoring our USENET posts and take away our access because an off topic post MAY degrade someone elses internet experence.

BUT they allow worm and virus infected machines undaunted access to the internet creating loads of worm trafic that degrades everybodys internet experence?
