They do know better
It's been on the 6 o'clock new for the past 5 years. Every time a major virus like this comes on there is news report here, there, everywhere. They tell you what not to do. But people choose to ignore the warnings. Much like when they were told they should wear seat belt no one did and it took laws to force them to. Much like smoking is common knowledge that it will kill you but people still start the habbit.

You know what ISP are doing right now. Shutting your internet off if you are spreading viruses. You have get notified via mail of this if you don't happen to phone in first. You then have to prove you are virus free before they give you access. Basically they turn you on again and if they detect the virus again off you go again.

This isn't to punish them it's to stop one person from clogging up everyone the ISP deals with.
