2.6 is nice
Very robust, You can have something compiling in the background and would never know unless you try to play a high fps game. I use a compile from source distro and I am constantly running compiles in the background while I browse the web and listen to xmms.

I have also tried out xpSP2_beta_v.2055 If this is the way MS is going I would prefer to side with linux. It is more flexible and devellopment is much quicker.
