Wouldn't it be nice if MS employees
weren't allowed to spin or offer propaganda for the big Redmond beast while appearing to be representing ZDNet. Really, this stinks and I am quite sick of it. It's really just the same as the current Adminstration paying for "Editorials" that promote the Whitehouse's narrow perspective by supposedly unaffiliated columnist. ZDNet has several "bloggers that are just like these "columnist" and are supposed to be "independent" viewpoints but are really just spewing propaganda. Forget having any kind of rational discussion from these guys. They have a whole set of talking points, supplied by the masters, that are used to repeatedly assert the same claims and misdirections over and over again until people tire of trying to discuss details or even end up believing the lies. Ususally the lies are past on ad homenim attacks like Apple|Sun|Linux|Oracle is "soooo bad" too. I wonder how much money MS pays to have its ZDNet cast and the cast of others posting here (you know how they are) that never, ever fail to flog the MS corporate "vision."
