I can't see why *anyone* would complain about the permissive license--it has even fewer restrictions than the GPL.

All MS demands is you not use their trademarks and if you sue them you'll lose the right to the license. Seems fair to me.

Their permissive license sounds pretty similar to the BSD license, so where's the beef?
