Was this a miss print, or are these guys out of their minds?? You can pay up to $5,000 for each 2 processor server??? Imagine the cost of a server with MS Windows 2003 super duper enterprise and VMWare. Each server would cost about five times as much as going with OpenSolaris and Xen.
There are a lot of details, and the community is figuring them out one at a time. AMD, Intel, IBM, SUN, HP, Novel, RedHat, and many others are contributing. My money is with XenSource.
