PHP is okay. I think the claim that it is more robust and more secure then J2EE or .NET is over reaching. PHP doesn't have as extensive of a framework of either J2EE or .NET, it uses weakly type data types, it's scripted vs. compiled, and it's had it's share of security holes. I'm not sure why you think it takes less time with PHP either.
