devil in the details
Missing from the FAQ is the obvious question: what mechanisms currently exist, or are expected to exist on the date of implementation, to allow users of MS word to save documents in ODF format? Doesn't it seem reasonable to assume that such users should not have to perform multiple steps - in different applications - to save a file?

Obviously the company that produces the first Word plug-in for ODF saves will have a large pool of potential customers!

Did anyone else catch the circular reasoning in, "current ODF files will remain compatible with future ODF standards because the standard is open"?
