this is all wrong architecturally
In the digital age people's entitlement to content licences must be held on a website, from there streamed via vod. I can't really see a reason why someone would want to store the files locally unless to a video ipod for watching while in transit.
The microsoft PC-centric approach seems to be designed purely to give the PC a job in this new world, it seems otherwise redundant.

At least that's my opinion. Anyone else have a view?
