Not *even* a methodology
"IBM contribution to Eclipse has been enormous, I'm not sure why you're claiming otherwise."

It's a two way street, they created Eclipse to shift the centre of Java focus from away from Sun. IBM gains from its donations to Open source. The gain to IBM has been enormous.

In this case they've donated things of partial or dubious value (not *even* a complete methodology only *part*), in exchange for lots of credibility for those things.

Weak.
