Minor correction.
...can set to appear in their Web-browsing software...

As far as I can tell, you must have IE 5.01 or later. So, that should have been ...appear in their IE browser.... Its no biggy, as unless stated otherwise, anything MS makes is for MS products only. Unless the author really meant, you can put this into any standard browser but MS only supports IE.

Anyway, MS had to do this sometime or another. Tho, I thought it would be a lot sooner. Hopefully, people won't expect the SAME exact thing in ALL browsers like they do the Start button for all PC's (I still run into people who believe a PC is useless w/o it).
