As far as MS goes
haven't all those entities been able to choose to stay with MS or use Word Perfect, Lotus Smartsuite, and any of a number of free and open suites/editors for a number of years? Doesn't the weight of their purchases define the current situation, as well as provide them with empowerment to choose the product, if not seek a format? Not trying to revise history, so didn't they choose their products and won't they continue to choose the products.
