How's it good for the shareholders again?
So how is the Oracle takeover good for shareholders again?

Let's recap. The going price for the stock on the market is $22+. Oracle is offering $3 less. Oracle has promised to close shop on Peoplesoft after the buy out. Employees are shareholders I'm sure, so how likely is it that those shareholders would be doing themselves a favor by selling to Oracle? They lose their jobs immediately and sell low. Sure there may be a profit for them depending on when they bought stock but there's surely going to be a larger profit for them if they stick with it another year or even two.
