It's the Anti Microsoft crowd that say open source will kill Microsoft.

I remember an old saying a teacher of mine once said. All ants are insects but not all insects are ants. Same could be said for Anti Microsofties and Open Source supports. All Anti Microsofties are Open Source supporter but not all Open Source supporters are Anti Microsoft.

I use Microsoft and I use lot of Open Source software. I use Microsoft VB and Blood Shed C++. I use Access 2000 and Open Office. Those are just a few examples. I also use and open source browser, email client, new reader, file manager, and text editor. All this on Windows 2000 Professional.

It's going to really suck if Microsoft make it so I can't access files created with Office with my Open Office forms as Microsoft Word doesn't have the functionality to do that. If this happens I may have to dump MS Office entirely which would be shame as I won't have MS Access. MYSQL could work but it's not as good for what I use it for.
