Caldera's Open Linux was the only desktop Linux at the time and it was pretty good! The problem is that they were too slow releasing new versions and when the 2.4 kernel, DRI and XFree 86 version 4 came out nobody wanted to stick with kernel 2.2, no real 3D support and XFree 86 version 3!

They later released a new product but by then it was too little too late and it looked like they had combined parts of SCO with the product so not many took a liking to it.
