"A) how can it save "$billions" if all you are doing is transfering "$billions from "too poor" Bill gates to the pockets of developers?"

$billions in the pocket of 1 person (1 or to tv's bought with the Billions) or in the pockets of millions of developers (millions of tv's bought ->
a lot of happy tv companies)


"B) Governments are already converting to Linux just as many many businesses are"

Governments can do things companies can not do as effectively. They can subsidize PC purchases by schools if they run Linux. They can sponser more research in to Linux. They can demand IT educations to include programming in Linux formats instead of just VB (as is the case in many dutch IT educations, they still favor VB)

C) again what are you smoking?
I do not endorse smoking so I will not answer that one (even though I do smoke but I think it's a nasty habit and I can't wait untill somebody invents an easy way for me to quit without my family going nuts)
