Hope springs eternal, but? I tried to update my MS Office 2003 Small Business Edition with BCM to SP2 using the Office2003SP2-kb887616-fullfile-enu.exe Download. Things went well at the start of the install then when ?Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office Small Business Edition 2003? is announced it is Microslog nap time. I waited and waited and waited---yawn-n-n---for the progress bar to fill in but it isn?t happening and clearly isn?t going to happen.
I did the initial install of this MS Office 2003 SBE w/ BCM software into a pristine, factory-fresh machine a year ago, and have fastidiously kept it and WIN XP Pro updated along the way. Yet here I sit another ?victim? of MicroSlog Bugware unable to update it to provide myself and my machine ?significant security enhancements, in addition to stability and performance improvements.?
