Yes and No
Is it right to distribute copywrited material? No. Is is right
to make copies of songs, movies, etc. THAT YOU OWN for
your own use? Absolutely.

Why fight home copying? It's already legal with the
exception of having to bypass the copy protection. Besides,
there is no copy protection that cannot be broken. And as
long as creating DeCSS and programs like it is legal
anywhere in the world, it will be available to whomever
wants it.

Note to RIAA and MPAA: Sue those who offer commercial
material for download. Let ME make backups of the movies
and songs I buy and use the material for whatever personal
use I choose.

And if people are distributing your stuff on the Internet, feel
free sue all the 13 year old underprivileged girls you want.
Just don't expect the public to applaud your efforts.
