- My rep has shown me economic forecasts predicting that SQL Server 2005 (SQL2K5 for us in the know) will take over the enterprise database market. The numbers show huge ROI and low TCO, making it a sure fire winner to allow companies to achieve one degree of separation while asking the question where do you want to go today? My rep took me to dinner and further emphasized that Microsoft's Great Plains software will crush Peoplesoft by 2006. I called my stock broker and told him, in no uncertain terms, if I find Oracle stock in ANY of my IRA's, mutual funds or ETF funds, I will pull ALL OF MY MONEY and redistribute.
