If you cant compete on quality, cut the price
Why did Microsoft win in Newham (UK?) The article implies Microsoft was the better fiscal deal. In fact Newham council had an OSS desktop alternative which had been tried, built, tested, and was ready to roll out. Microsoft's pants were much pee-stained. Especially as Billy boy is in the UK promoting greed as sound business ethic. Microsoft had no choice but to offer absolutely massive price cuts (which no one else will be getting).
