I would go as fas as saying that the web would be far better without the existence of MS. IE is a worm magnet, MSN is bland, and the MS has never fully intergrated its office suite to the point where it and the web are seemless. Easy explanation... MS Office and Windows software licensing = CASHCOW. Change? Why change? Things are great for MS. The web user (and the PC user) gets screwed, but MS is happy.
