Hosted software services just another revenew stream
Microsoft's most recent shakeup and reorg in the process of folding its MSN into the platforms, products and services division where Windows, office are its two biggest cash cows and other applications including IE and media player.

This will obviously create another revenue stream simply to host another group of Windows media music, movies, news and sports on a ppv (pay per view) basis. All this wil be encapsulated in Windows Media player 11 which is still in beta stage in the Windows Vista beta 1 platform which microsoft has provided a very good clue that I've read about.

Since Mirosoft want's to time release its products near the start of school and the holidays a good date would be August 25th, 2006 or September 1, 2006 before labor day and a day after school starts. It for a good reason: Its usually the time of year when most high schools and kids going off to college will be buying new PC's and Remmember Windows 95 went gold on August 25th, 1995. wink
