Look at the bigger picture

While scripting does play a role, you need to look at the bigger
picture. We've got an entire staff that has used Quark for years,
knows all the ins and outs of Quark, and is extremely efficient in
using Quark. To ask them to all switch to InDesign (certainly the
better program in my opinion) means the expense of retraining,
and a major, major loss in time for us as they will have to spend
time learning, and even then, they'll be much slower. We can't
stand to take that big of a hit to our very tight production
schedule.
