Let's get some facts
Dude, MS market cap is $271.46 BILLION. GOOG is at about $80 billion. 25 brokers have an average rating of $31.52 and most financial institutions rate the stock as a "buy" or "outperform". While projected growth for next year is a "mere" 12%, this means MS will *increase* revenue by $5 billion. That's more than most software companies (including GOOG) make in a year! Oh, and btw, profit margins at MS are about twice that of GOOG.

And if that's not enough, MS shareholders were treated to a special one-time $32 billion dividend. MS is also committed to buying back their stock to increase the value, whereas GOOG is only interested in selling.

Sure, their stock price hasn't gone anywhere in 3 years, but they really haven't put out any products in 3 years. The next 12 months will be really interesting, all new versions of Windows, Office, Visual Studios, SQL Server, and a host of other products are rolling out. And of course, Xbox 360 is coming out in a few months!
