College Interview Day, Google lines 5 deep, MSFT 2 people
The best indicator is the days when my local colleges are open
for Corporate Interview Days, the lines at the Google table were
over 5 people deep, while the MSFT table had 2 students asking
questions. If the college student has already wised up to how
lame Macroshaft is doing these days, how much more should
Dr. Lee be aware he was on the MSFT Titanic, and wanted to
jump ship, his NDA be damned.

I think he made the right choice, and further that his actions
showed the little ones at MSFT that they too, could get the
"stones" and leave the ship while there was time. As the days go
by, its humorous to watch Bill gates trying to "make news" by
buying another company, announcing another Office, or Vista, or
SQL, anything to try to get positive press. But the days of MS
being the darling of Wall St, or Easy St. are long gone, their stock
is in the toilet, theyre ability to innovate is most closely aligned
with Renovate, these guys have lost the edge and should give
their "wings" back, the days of high flying on MSFT are long
gone. Adios slackers.
