Does compute well...
I remember going to a technical college years ago, when Hotmail had just been snapped up, and the future was software as a service, or so the more enlightened instructors told us, in so many words. Some of the instructors were not so sure and predicted Windows NT, the time period, would be the downfall of Redmond. I didn't think so, BIll Gates gave an interview in a games magazine and predicted the future was some sort of hosted game. A game or software, or whatever is easy to fulfill as a service and they seem to be taking the path now, however evolutionary it has been.

Now we see the fruition of the plans and I go back to my tattered copy of Jurassic Park and look at the explanations of the fractal design pasted throughout and I see in my mind the Vista and Office explosion and wonder if competitors will feel empowered to compete harder or feel like that last mech standing in Matrix reloaded when the Sentinnels storm funnel attacks.

Should be interesting indeed.

Go Linux, go Linux, go Linux go.
