I can't help but imagine . . .
I read some time ago that win95 had 2 million lines of code in it and that Vista will have close to 60 million lines. Win95 installed about 250MB on my hard drive, if you calculate that, it comes to about 7-1/2 GB of installed material for winVista.

At the same time, I have SuSE 9.3 installed and have about 5GB of data, excluding my personal documents. So, 7.5GB with next to no programs installed is just insane, plus all of the harware upgrades that would be mandatory to run Vista.

The machine I am running SuSE on runs perfectly, my video card's capabilities doubled when I installed Linux, and let me say, with the reports, my machine would barely be able run Vista period, and it was of the high-end gaming class about 2 years ago.
