Not grateful for color mess
You might be grateful for crappy color, but not everyone is. This
could have been fixed a LONG time ago.

After trying to color-calibrate some new Dells to work with a
high-end scanner, including over 40 hours on an unsuccessful
attempt with our main computer, a Precision 650, I can also tell
you that not all the world is grateful. In the meantime, I can
calibrate our Macs in a half-hour each.

Industry-recognized ICC technology, and Color Management
Modues, have been around for a long time. Microsoft's Image
Color Management has never worked correctly, instead of fixing
it, they are going to push a new "standard" down everyone's
throats. Do you ever wonder why some people like open
standards established by impartial committes of experts?
