Do you have ANY concept of color control?
What calibration software do you use? Do you use a Spyder or
other brand of color calibrations device? Do you even know
what a calibration device is? What profiles do you embed in the
documents that you send out? What CMYK profiles do you put in
your docs for either the printer or the color magazines and/or
catalogs so a red doesn't end up printing pink or something?
How many spot colors to you usually allow in any one
document? What CMYK profiles do you put in your docs for
either the printer or the color magazines and/or catalogs? What
method do you use to control CMYK color mismatches between
bitmap and vector graphics apps? What Pantone books do you
keep at the ready so that you can specify correct spot and
process colors? What schedule do you have set up for automatic
monitor recalibration? What profiles do you embed in the PDFs
that you send to newspapers and magazines, since PDF is
virtually the ONLY format now accepted?

Why do i get the feeling that all of the above are most likely
Greek to you? Why do I get the feeling that you know as much
about proper color matching as I do about designing space
shuttles?

Your harping about "MS made computer's cheap" is just silly.
Profiling and color matching does not contribute one nickel to
the cost of a computer or other device. ICC profiling is and
computer color matcing is as old as the hills. MS simply chose
to ignore proper color matcing since day one.
