Yes Micrsoft is good a giving the customer what they want
But they are not good a giving the customer what they need.

An Analogy,

There was a time when all I wanted to do was drink beer, get drunk and party. I grew up and now I need an income and more healthy lifestyle. The brewers aren't going to give me a job and provide me a with healthy alternatives to thier beer. No they'd rather I kept drinking beer and forking all my money over them.

My point is eventually people wake up and see what they need over what they want. Will Microsoft quit selling beer in favor of health food? Maybe...
