Running scared from new technlology.
File trading is the new radio. Historically, they tried to stop old radio form "giving away free music," claiming it would kill record sales. Actually, it was the greatest form of promotion they had ever known, and the payola scandal happened. This is history repeating itself. They are already using a consulting firm called BigChampagne to track what's hot among file traders, in spite of their mantra that file trading must die. Read about this, and other reasons the record labels deserve to be boycotted at www.dontbuycds.org
