ouch - what a burn
Wow, you buy your music exclusively from Apple? That must be excruciatingly painful for the RIAA - I mean to only get ~ 70cents of every dollar you are spending, plus no distribution costs. I can't believe I didn't think of that one - I bet if everybody takes your Apple-only strategy, the RIAA will go belly up in a few months.

Seriously though - I think that the sue your customer rather than rethink the business model strategy is garbage. I personally refuse to purchase anything from the RIAA as I think its time for the RIAA and the rest of corporate america to realize that the inflated profit margins need to come down. Some people choose to express their disgust through file-swapping, which is essentially a form of civil disobedience. Unfortunately, when carrying out an act of civil disobedience, one has to live with the potential consequences. In fact, it is the harshness of those consequences which is often a driving force for change.

With this being the case, you may choose to file swap as a statement, but you do so at your own risk.
