How so?
Here is my concern.

I buy the physical music CD of the album, "Sell Out" by The Who. From Amazon.com I pay 10.99 plus shipping for 23 tracks. I know own the physical CD, in the highest quality audio format I can get it in. I can transfer it to any format now with ease. For most purposes, I have a permanant copy of it, which will not degrade.

I go to iTunes and buy the same album for $22.77. It is now in a DRM protected format. To make it portable, I get to burn it to CD and then rip it to MP3, losing quality along the way going from one compressed format to another. Ummm, this is supposed to be better???

Forget about water marked MP3s. Are you honestly going to pay .99 each for an MP3 that is crap quality compared to what you would get with buying the original???
