Yes they do . . .
Comsumers want an internet filled with a variety of websites all containing a great assortment of quality content and like television programming something has to pay for those websites. People with accept internet ads like they accept TV comercials, as the price of "free access". On the one hand they will complain about the high volume and poor quality of internet advertizing on the other hand they will realize that those ads pay for their getting free access to a great variety of content and they will adapt to that reality.
