Buffer the Vampire Slayer
use the un-dead code. Why you people make such silly comments about buffer overflows. It is really simple. In the code to set max size of buffer. If it overflows ? Disregard the information. Linux handles this quite well. Windows does not. so knowing this the first line of defence is Buffer the Vampire Slayer or some nice software to catch the demon. Like a good defence plan Virus Protection in case your overflow is a virus Duh! and a good firewall Nat or the like incase your overflow contains a trojan. and spyware protection incase it is a bit of spyware or a trojan. and a good browser like firefox that dosn't really respond to such attacks. If you noticed they said it is a possiblity not that it has been proven. I have seen the exploit in MS java do some serious nasty things to computer and to this day it still is there no fix and ms has known for about 5years. There solution "We dont support the JVM anymore". I just can't support that kind of MS Thinking.
