Baby steps for amateurs
Any developer who uses this contraption of JBoss and MySQL is asking for trouble. It is bad enough that the coding would have to be done in Java. That in and of itself makes the code legacy and insecure. However, the use of MySQL as a back end for anything scares this CIO have to death. I shudder to think of data being accessed by any knowledge worker without the refinements of Microsoft SQL Server. Reading this story made me appreciate the power and sheer awesomeness of Yukon. Yukon is so refined, so powerful that the mere installation of it on my servers caused all of my MCSE's to take the rest of the day off to recover.
