Google$
Look folks. Google is a publically owned, for profit company. Larry and Sergey are simply Bill and Paul redux 25 years later. Until computers gain AI via intelligent software and hardware / networking that evolve into simple utilities, most everything computer related will have some associated cost. And there's nothing wrong with making a buck or two. The last I checked Google$ was making hundreds of millions of $$$ per quarter. They don't make all that money without charging somebody money, which in the end rolls down hill. Open APIs does not make opensource, so let's not all get in a row and hold our breath waiting for Google$ to opensource their search engine before we all pass out and die. BTW - I find Bill, Steve, Larry, and Sergey a lot more appealing that the Stallmans of the world.
