A couple of points.
I grant you that Microsoft's process of selection in all probability doesn't meet government standards, but as they are a private company that is their choice. (Not yours, or mine for that matter.)

While you may not like it, Microsoft puts a great deal of faith in their MVPs, much more than say the open source crowd. In other words they may feel perfectly comfortable showing something to one of their own (an MVP) and not the world in general. Again that is their choice and you have nothing to say about it. They also hire the people they want and allow them access to the code, but you hear no great crying about it.

As to my knowing a great deal about the MVP program, how it works, and the selection process of who got the opportunity to review the code all I can say is I am in a much better position to judge it than you are. Again, I make no claim to be an MVP, nor do I deny it. In other words, it's my business, not the business of the collective talkback crowd. I'm afraid you have to accept that answer because anything beyond that is simply none of your business.
