Redhat is saying they will replace it. So if there's no contribution from the open source community they will write the code. I'm not sure why you would belittle them for offering this. They are reasuring their custumors that in the owrst case scenario they will have no problems because Red Hat will make sure they can continue to use Linux. Sounds a lot better then the clause MS always includes about not being liable for anything they put out. These companies are even putting up money for the possebility of end users getting sued. The are putting there money where their mouth is and you still find something to complain about. What do you want them to do? Any brilliant suggestions or just the usual b*ll?
