But the MS shills say there are no associated costs!
Why bother protecting yourself against this, or any other virus or worm? After all, according to Microsoft there are no actual costs associated with getting infected. That's why Microsoft NEVER factors in the costs of getting infected by Windows worms or Windows viri or Windows trojans when comparing their malware petri-dish of an OS with other OS's.

A little reminder :

Total number of known Linux viri == 30

source - http://www.viruslist.com/eng/viruslistfind.asp?findWhere=011&findTxt=linux

Total number of known Windows virii == well, it was over 80,000 when I last checked how many files VirusGuard had to keep a look out for.

But there are no costs associated with Windows virus infection, honest, Microsoft say so!
